The Xiaomi 13 Ultra flaunts an AMOLED screen that comes with a 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution. Besides, it comes with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. As far as brightness is concerned, Xiaomi boasts a much higher 2600 nits peak brightness. For comparison, the
iPhone 14 tops at 1600 nits. So, you can expect to enjoy everything played on the screen even on a bright sunny day. If you are fond of slim and sleek smartphones, you’ll have mixed feelings about this one because of its chunky design (weighing about 227 grams). As far as power is concerned, the latest flagship smartphone from Xiaomi packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for top-notch performance. As far as cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra houses a quad-camera setup with a 1-inch main camera sensor with variable aperture inspired by
Leica M series lenses. Talking more about this Xiaomi claimed to offer reliable, durable, and high imaging performance.
Talking about the camera sensors, the primary sensor supports Hyper-OIS and comes with the Sony IMX989 sensor. Backing up the main camera, the three remaining camera uses Sony IMX858 sensors. Talking of camera details, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes with a 50 MP (wide), 50 MP (periscope telephoto), 50 MP (telephoto), and 50 MP (ultrawide) + TOF 3D (depth) camera sensor.
Xiaomi claims that all the camera sensors on Xiaomi 13 Ultra have the capability of capturing focal lengths ranging from 12mm to 240mm. While the primary camera can switch between an aperture of f/1.9 to f/4.0, the other three camera sensors come with a fixed aperture of f/2.0.
If you are into photography, you’d be happy to know that the main camera of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is capable of shooting 50MP RAW images at a multi-frame 14-bit UltraRAW. For street photography enthusiasts, Xiaomi has brought a new ‘Fast shoot’ mode to take ‘focus-free’ images in just 0.8 seconds. Selfies are taken care of by a 32MP camera. You can also take advantage of several features like CyberFocus, multiple Leica filters, 8K recording, and much more.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 5000mAh battery accompanied by Xiaomi’s Surge P2 Charging Chip and Xiaomi Surge G1 Battery Management Chip. The flagship smartphone comes with 90W wired turbocharging, 50W wireless turbocharging, and reverse wireless charging features.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra Price and Availability
The starting price of Xiaomi 13 Ultra (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) is CNY 5,999 (approx. $872) and it will be available in China starting from April 21. The upper variant 16GB RAM +512GB storage and 16GB RAM +1TB storage is priced at CNY 4,499 (approx. $945) and CNY 7,299 (approx. $1061). Moreover, this flagship is available in Black, White, and Olive. In addition, Xiaomi also plans to expand its availability outside China, so we can expect this flagship to hit the international market in the upcoming months.

That’s not all, Xiaomi has also announced a bunch of video kit accessories that can be used with 13 Ultra. The video kit includes 67mm filters from Leica, a physical crown for shutter and zooming, and a lanyard for maximum portability. The video kit is priced in China at RMB 700 (approx. $102).
