Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy S20 series at the Unpacked Event in San Francisco on February 11. We have already started witnessing a lot of leaked renders showing the design and prices of Samsung’s lineup. Now, it’s the time for the most premium smartphone among Samsung’s S20 series- the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.
The leaked renders have showcased the design of the top-end variant, and also confirmed the two dominant features of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G takes away all the limelight by introducing a periscope camera with 100x zoom and Space Zoom for astrophotography.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G design
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have the same design as the Galaxy S20 and S20+. The phone will feature 2.5D curved glass design with the power and volume buttons housed on the right side.
Finally, the prime feature that separates the Galaxy S20 Ultra from the S20 and S20+ models is the impressive camera department. On the rear panel, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have quad-camera sensors, arranged over a large rectangular module. Specifically, the bottom-one is the periscope lens, adding the incredible zooming powers like 100x digital zoom and 10x optical zoom to the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G. The dual-tone color pattern on the camera module detaches the periscope sensor with the other three sensors. As a result, with the Space Zoom capabilities, Samsung is all set to take Google Pixel 4 series in the astrophotography game.
The phone will be available in three color options- Cosmic Black, Cosmic Grey, and Cloud Blue.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will run on Android 10 based One UI 2.0 skin. Also, the device will come up with IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
In addition, the smartphone is tipped to feature a large 6.9-inch Infinity-O AMOLED display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, the device will be powered by Exynos 990 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, depending upon the region. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have a 16GB RAM onboard; and internal storage of 512GB, which can be expanded up to 1TB. Moreover, the phone is packed with a large 5,000 mAh battery.
Finally, now comes the most striking feature of the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G- the imaging department. The phone will have a 108MP primary sensor, a 48MP telephoto sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 3D ToF sensor, and a periscope sensor. Also, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has reported having a 40MP selfie camera.
