Nokia has joined Flipkart’s new lineup of smart TVs by launching its first smart TV for the Indian markets.
The smart TV is currently available in a 55-inch variant, and Nokia will expand the lineup of 4K variants in the coming months. The acoustics of smart TV has engineered by JBL. Customers are going to experience better audio quality and minimal harmonic distortion. It’s the first time that JBL is expanding its Audio expertise in Television space in India.
And, here comes a delight for the customers. Flipkart is bundling a complete TV protection scheme with the Nokia smart TV, which is available at a launch price of Rs 999. The scheme offers customers coverage of three years against manufacturing defects and accidental damages. Also, a guaranteed buyback value at the end of three years is included in the scheme.
Nokia Smart TV specifications
Nokia smart TV has a 55-inch Ultra HD display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness, and 178-degree viewing angles. The smart TV support apps via Google’s Android TV Play Store. And, customers will get Netflix, YouTube, and Hotstar apps pre-installed. In addition, it comes with Google Voice Assistant and hotkeys for Netflix and YouTube to reduce your time in searching for the content.
The smart TV runs on Android TV 9.0 platform with built-in Chromecast support. For better visual experience, the TV is bolstered with MEMC technology.
The Television is powered by PureX quad-core CPU locked at 1 GHz, Mali-450 GPU, 2.25 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi. Customers will get 3x HDMI ports and 2x USB ports. Furthermore, the TV offers intelligent dimming that produces deeper blacks through a wide color gamut and accurate backlight control.
The audio is supported by JBL with an integrated sound-bar system. The smart TV features 24 Watt built-in speakers, DTS TruSurround, and Dolby Audio. JBL’s audio optimization will help deliver deep bass tones. Furthermore, Clear Sound technology and the Clear View technology reduce noise for a better digitally streamed content.
The Nokia smart TV has a clean and minimal design with ultra-slim bezels for seamless viewing. It comes with a centrally located stand so that you don’t need a wide table to place the TV.
Nokia smart TV is priced at Rs 41,999 and will be available on Flipkart starting December 10.
