A prominent leakster, ShrimpApplePro claims that Apple will be releasing a new iPad this fall. The rumored Apple tablet will be the successor of the iPad Mini 6 and will be called the iPad Mini 7. Earlier this year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, also reported about a new iPad coming this year with a minor upgrade.
iPad Mini 7 to sport a new chip
The iPad Mini 7 is rumored to feature a chip upgrade just like the 11th-Gen iPad. The iPad Mini 6 currently packs an A15 Bionic chip under the hood. By fall 2023, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro series might go on sale with A16 Bionic and A17 Bionic chipset, respectively. That means, the rumored iPad Mini 7 might be getting any of these chipsets for power-packed performance.
I’m seeing at least one new iPad coming. Probably mini 7. Will reserved that for the next post.

We also expect to see a minor spec bump including upgraded front and rear snappers. It is also reported that Photonic Engine could debut on iPads for the very first time. On top of that, the new iPad could also feature
ProRes video recording, stereo audio recording, Portrait mode, Portrait Lighting, and more.
Other than that, it is also possible to see connectivity upgrades like Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 to the iPad Mini for the first time. It is worth mentioning that these connectivity features have already made their way to the iPad Pro launched in 2022. Moreover, an exclusive iPad Pro feature, namely, Apple Pencil hover, could be also included in the rumored iPad Mini 7 coming later this year.

Mark Gurman has also confirmed that Apple tested darker titanium for the current Apple Watch Ultra, but the company chose not to release it. Therefore, he believes that the possible new color might be released this year. It is worth noting that the upcoming rugged Apple Watch will be also available in the existing ‘Natural’ titanium color.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2nd Gen is expected to feature a faster S9 chipset which is based on the A15 bionic chip that powers the iPhone 13 models. The 2nd Generation Apple Watch Ultra is rumored to launch in September alongside the Apple Watch Series 9 and iPhone 15 series.
