While the iPhone 8 met with disappointing sales, things still looked very good for Apple because poor sales of the iPhone 8 could potentially mean excellent sales for the more expensive iPhone X.
Amidst rumours of issues surrounding FaceID, a person was spotted using the iPhone X in the wild. Now this is especially weird since Apple is paranoid about secrecy and previous tester phones have all been known to sport think cases covering the iPhone’s design. However, that iPhone X notch is unmistakable. One could argue that it is a knockoff, as iPhone knockoffs usually go on sale scary fast, but if you look carefully, you can see the iOS Calendar app running on the phone. Apparently, the user of the phone was noting down Subway times with it.
The iPhone X is expected to go on sale mid November. It will sport cutting edge hardware like a bezel less display and FaceID face recognition for authentication. It will be launched at a hot 1000$ in the US or Rs 89,900 here in India.
