Apple has unveiled the new iPad Mini 6th gen at its iPhone 13 launch event on September 14, 2021. We’ve witnessed a lot of new hardware at this digital launch event, and the surprise addition is the new littlest iPad Mini 2021. It brings the power of an iPad in an amazingly compact form.
The latest iPad Mini 2021 features an all-screen design, 5G network support, Wi-Fi 6 compatibility, Center Stage, the powerful A15 Bionic chip, and a lot more.
Besides the 6th-gen iPad Mini, Apple has introduced the 9th gen iPad, iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, and Apple Watch Series 7 at its September 2021 launch event.

iPad Mini 2021: Design and Display
The 6th-gen iPad Mini is the smallest model in the entire iPad range, but it features a larger screen space as compared to its previous iterations. It sports an all-screen 8.3” Liquid Retina Display with narrow borders and packs support for advanced technologies, including P3 color gamut, True Tone, and 500 nits of brightness. The Touch ID button is moved to the top-right corner and delivers the same ease to its users. The tablet is integrated with stereo speakers, which is a nice addition for people who love watching movies or play music out loud.
One of the most noticeable and impressive features of the latest iPad Mini is that the Lightning port has been finally replaced by the USB-C interface. As a result, the users will experience faster charging and data transfer speeds.

Apple claims that as compared to the previous iterations, the iPad Mini 2021 gets a 40% boost in CPU and an 80% jump in GPU performance. Right from the graphics-intensive games to the Pro apps used by professionals, the iPad Mini 2021 is designed to handle even the most demanding tasks. Furthermore, Apple says that the iPad Mini is efficient enough to deliver an all-day battery life.
That’s not all. The iPad Mini will ship with the latest iPadOS 15 that brings a host of improvements to its users. The list includes Live Text, Maps improvements, upgraded widgets, and much more.
Both the Wi-Fi and Celluar models support 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 6. Besides, there’s an eSIM support for the Cellular models.

The iPad Mini 6 is already up for pre-orders and will be available starting from September 24, 2021. It starts at $499 and $649 for the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+cellular models, respectively. You can grab the latest iPad Mini in 64GB and 256GB configurations, which are available in Pink, Purple, Starlight, and Gray finish.
