We saw a number of product launches at Apple’s Wanderlust event. The spotlight of the event was the launch of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus followed by the feature-packed iPhone 15 Pro series, Apple Watch Series 9, and 2nd generation of Apple Watch Ultra.
AirPods Pro is one of the first audio products by Apple to receive the USB-C upgrade. This was first reported by Bloommberg’s Mark Gurman and a reliable analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo.
I think this is likely the USB-C version of the AirPods Pro 2, with mass shipments expected in 2Q23-3Q23. By the way, Apple currently appears to have no plans for USB-C versions of the AirPods 2 & 3.
