Nothing seems to be going right for Apple at this point. To remind, in the second week of September, Apple launched the new iPhone 15 series which was praised by users initially for the new camera and design it offered. Sadly, the praise didn’t last long as several users started complaining about the overheating problems on the iPhone 15 series. The heating issue has affected mostly the iPhone 15 Pro model users. That’s not all, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have been reported for poor build quality too. How can we forget the cracked back panel moment from JerryRigEverything’s iPhone 15 Pro durability test video?
Redditor reports swollen battery on iPhone 15 Pro
While the above problems are still haunting users and even potential buyers, the swollen battery on the iPhone 15 Pro is a new addition to the list of annoying iPhone 15 problems. Yes, don’t be surprised!
A Redditor recently shared a picture of the iPhone 15 Pro’s swollen battery. Upon taking a closer look, you’d notice the swelling had occurred around the bottom area of the screen. We have attached the post so you can have a look too.
At the time of writing this, the post has got over 6.8K upvotes and around 968 comments with many of them suggesting him to return the device. The user affected with a swollen iPhone 15 Pro battery has already contacted Apple and is likely to get his device swapped. The user has clearly mentioned that he hasn’t dropped his iPhone or done anything that could have led to this issue. Therefore, it is quite hard to understand the real reason behind the swelling of the iPhone 15 Pro battery, but it’s certainly a thing to worry about.
Having all that said, most of the issues related to the iPhone 15 series are limited to some units, and not everyone is affected by it. If you ever come across a similar battery swelling issue on any of the iPhone 15 models, we recommend getting in touch with the Apple support team. You are most likely to get a brand-new iPhone as well.
