iPhone 14 Series Launch Event Officially Announced

After hearing about leaks and rumors for more than a year, Apple officially announced the launch event for the iPhone 14 series. The Cupertino giant will host the event, Far Out at 10 AM PT on 7th September at the Steve Jobs Theater. It will be an invite-only event with a live stream available on YouTube and Apple’s own website, just like the March 2022 event. Far out. We’ve already got confirmed reports about major camera upgrades in the iPhone Pro series. Nonetheless, based on numerous leaks in the past, this could also be a satellite connectivity feature on the iPhone 14 series. Folks on Twitter and around the internet have been throwing up with their predictions like Anyone else thinking that "Far out" is a reference to the screen being "far out" towards the edges - no notch hint :) ..I think the black with white only on it may be a reference to an always on display. And the appearance of stars may be a reference to the much-improved camera being even better for astrophotography… Nonetheless, we are excited to finally see all those rumors put to rest. Here’s a quick rundown of what we are expecting at the September 7th Apple event. iPhone 14 series We’ll most likely see the end of the iPhone Mini lineup. Sadly, there won’t be any iPhone 14 Mini. Instead, it will be replaced with a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. We’ll still get the regular 6.1-inch iPhone 14; a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro; and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. We’ll see finally see the pill shape camera cutout replacing the dreaded notch in the Pro series. Along with this, the Pro series iPhones will also sport a 48MP primary rear sensor, a front camera with auto-focus, and the next-generation A-series processing chip. Based on leaks from iOS 16, we’ll see iPhones with Always-on-display. The list of potential upgrades for the regular iPhone 14 is not exactly long. We might see some minor upgrades to the camera hardware department and an upgraded network modem for better connectivity. Also read: Best Apps for iPhone Apple Watch Series 8 The Apple Watch Series 8 will replace the Series 7 but will sport the same looks and even the same processor with an added body temperature sensor. We’re very likely to see a Pro version of the Apple Watch which will be rugged, have more premium features, and a hefty price tag. The former might get a heart-rate sensor and hearing-aid compatibility. The latter will receive a processor upgrade and a new design is also on the table. Although, we do have our doubts regarding their release as it could also be pushed with the October 2022 event. Make sure to keep an eye around to stay updated on related news.
