Codenamed Dubai+, the Moto Edge 2022 might soon see the light of the day. Steve Hemmerstoffer (Onleaks) and 91Mobiles have shared renders of what looks like the 2022 Moto Edge. Let us take a closer look at the renders, the expected specs, price, and release date of the Moto Edge 2022.
Moto Edge 2022: Design & Display
The leaked renders disclose that the upcoming 2022 edition of Moto Edge looks no different from its 2021 predecessor. It will also feature a bezel-less display with a punch-hole front camera. The phone will have a flat display and a curved back on the sides for better grip. It is expected to have a 6.5-inch pOLED display with FHD+ resolution with an amazing 144Hz refresh rate. The display is expected to be the biggest upgrade for the Moto Edge 2022. The jump from a 144Hz LCD panel to a 144Hz OLED panel should benefit all kinds of users.
Moto Edge 2022: Specifications
The Moto Edge 2022 is expected to sport the Mediatek Dimensity MT6879 processor. It should be offered in 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256 GB storage variants respectively. It will ship with Android 12 out of the box.
The 5G compatible smartphone is likely to have dual Nano-sim card slots and both slots will come with 5G support. The renders reveal the triple camera setup which will consist of a primary 50MP camera with OIS, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The front punch hole notch camera will be 32MP with pixel binning technology.
The Moto Edge 2022 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery which will support fast charging via a USB Type-C port. There’s no info about wireless charging support as of now.

Moto Edge 2022: Price and Release date
