Just like the 13-inch MacBook Air, the 15-inch MacBook Air is equipped with a powerful M2 chipset. The M2 chip delivers exceptional speed and responsiveness for demanding tasks, including heavy multitasking, creative work, and resource-intensive applications with almost zero thermal issues.

Apart from the dimensions and larger display the only difference between the 13-inch and the 15-inch MacBook Air is the six speakers with force-cancelling subwoofers.
Apple calls its latest laptop, the world’s thinnest 15-inch laptop. It has the same sleek design and weighs 3.3 pounds (1.51 kg). It retains the impressive 500 nits Retina display that offers an immersive visual experience with vibrant colors and sharp details, perfect for content creators and those who rely on visual accuracy. The larger display has a screen resolution of 2880 by 1864 pixels as compared to 2560 by 1664 pixels on the 13-inch MacBook Air.
The 15-inch MacBook Air boasts an impressive 18 hours of battery life, allowing users to stay productive throughout the day without worrying about running out of power. Thanks to Apple’s M2 chip which barely sips power even when you’re doing fairly lightweight work. In terms of connectivity, the new MacBook Air sports two Thunderbolt 4 ports, offering high-speed data transfer for SSDs, hard drives, and versatile connectivity options for monitors and docking stations. These ports are complemented by the MagSafe charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
